A new writer joins The M Word

I am thrilled to announce the addition of a new writer for the M Word- Kathy Dempsey! (She's the one on the left- we have both agreed we prefer to be BEHIND the camera!)

Many of you know Kathy as the editor of Computers in Libraries magazine and the Marketing Library Services newsletter. She is an accomplished presenter and writer on the topic of marketing libraries. Back in 2005 she started her own consulting firm called Libraries Are Essential and partnered with Dr. Christie Koontz to write major marketing plans for two organizations, the New York State Library and the Ocean County (NJ) Library system.

In December Kathy resigned her full time position with Information Today (don't worry, she's agreed to keep editing MLS) allowing her more time for her passion for consulting and writing.

What perfect timing to bring her on board! She has a great sense of humor, wonderful insight, amazing experience and lots of ideas to share. I know you'll love her!
