The NY Times ran an article this morning, Free Services to Inspire Your Cellphone, featuring free services people could access through the Internet by dialing on their cell phones including , weather reports, travel, traffic , news and stock quotes (text 46645 or call 800-555-tell). They notes that people can get free International calls by using an access number in Iowa (712-858-8883), ping messages to friends through pinger.com, create fun greetings through youmail.com and get free price comparisons from Frucall.
