Are your library services available via cell phones yet?

The NY Times ran an article this morning, Free Services to Inspire Your Cellphone, featuring free services people could access through the Internet by dialing on their cell phones including , weather reports, travel, traffic , news and stock quotes (text 46645 or call 800-555-tell). They notes that people can get free International calls by using an access number in Iowa (712-858-8883), ping messages to friends through pinger.com, create fun greetings through youmail.com and get free price comparisons from Frucall. What is your library offering?

The Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) just unveiled OPLIN Mobile, which allows visitors to find an Ohio library or search their Discover Ohio link directory via cellphone or other mobile device. When visitors try to access the OPLIN homepage on a mobile device, they're automatically redirected to the OPLIN Mobile service.
