Here are some pictures from the balloon festival earlier in the month. There are more posted on NJLA's Flickr page. It was an active event beginning with a torrential downpour on the first day that early washed away the tent! Days two and three were fantastic with over 1,000 people entering our free drawing and many more learning about NJ Summer Reading Program and all the great books that libraries have for early readers. Thanks to Princeton Public for letting us reprint three of their early reading book lists they were a hit with kids and parents.
